Chizuru

Story

The Yata clan is one of three ancient clans that have Sacred Treasures that keep Orochi sealed. She was raised as a priestess. However, her life took a dark turn when Goenitz visited her home, killed her elder twin sister Maki and released Orochi. The Yata Mirror is not a strong artifact on its own. So Chizuru was put on a task to bring together the heirs of all three clans in order to reseal Orochi.

Chizuru hosted several tournaments during which the Sacred Treasures team managed to reseal Orochi.

However, in King of Fighters 2003, the trouble came from an unexpected side. Ash Crimson defeated Chizuru and stole the Yata Mirror. With the loss of power, she lost the will to fight. Her powers returned only after the thirteenth tournament when Ash disappeared. The fifteenth tournament is the first one since 2003 where the original Sacred Treasures Team reunited in order to finish “the Orochi” deal.

Personality 

Unlike her two teammates, Chizuru is a calm and collected person and a voice of reason in this team. However, she will do everything to keep Orochi sealed, even if that means bringing together two biggest rivals and babysitting them.

Playstyle

A master of traps and mirror images, Chizuru is an excellent choice when you want to outplay and outsmart your opponent. Her lack of speed requires you to think a lot and predict. Chizuru is a great choice for experienced players. 

Appearance

Chizuru wears a white coat and black pants. Her long black hair is decorated with a white headband.
