Sergei Dragunov is a patriot who loves his country and is willing to fight for her. Introduced in Tekken 5, he has been in every Tekken game since then, silently dispatching enemies and fulfilling missions.
Little is known about Dragunov’s past, but, he is well known as an efficient and ruthless operative. Dubbed "The White Angel of Death," Dragunov is dispatched to obtain a certain specimen for the Russians. This was his first brush with the King of Iron Fist Tournament which he entered into.
He ultimately failed in his mission objective, but he had little time to rue his failure as he was deployed to various parts of the country to quell civil unrest which is suspected to have been caused by the covert operations of the Mishima Zaibatsu. While on the mission, he is recalled to enter into the King of Iron Fist Tournament to take down the Mishima Zaibatsu and put an end to their interference with Russia.
By the time Tekken 7 rolls around, the Mishima Zaibatsu is still standing and Dragunov is back again to bring an end to them, but, in the middle of the tournament, Heihachi disappears and is feared dead.
Dragunov returns home where, for the first time in his life, he is given time off. Pleased at the chance to finally have some time to himself, Dragunov goes home and brings out a notebook. Contained in it is a list of all the things he would love to do if he ever had the time. He considers the list for a little bit before picking one of the things he loves, but which will by no means be easy to do. With this resolve, he sets out on a new adventure.
Dragunov is the epitome of ‘strong and silent.’ He lives for his work and loves to follow orders. There is no indication that he cares particularly deeply about anyone. But like with other characters who are silent and mysterious, Dragunov does have some surprising hobbies. For one, he likes to sing and this is evident as he hums after defeating opponents and in the times when he is alone.
Dragunov is a powerful character who hits and hits hard. This makes him very good offensively. Interestingly, he also has really good defense and has a reversal even while crouching. He also has a plethora of grappling moves that cause his opponents to think really hard before defending against something as they don’t know which move he will be looking to use.
Dragunov has pale skin with black hair slicked back with a slight fringe that gets in the way of his eyes sometimes. He has pale blue eyes and sunken cheeks which give him an unsettling appearance. He wears a simple shirt with deep blue pants on black combat boots. He compliments this with a large gray overcoat.
