Xiao Hai Signs with Falcons, Will Compete in SF6 and Fatal Fury: CotW
The Goat arrives

Two-time Esports World Cup champion Xiao Hai has officially joined Team Falcons, marking a huge signing for the organization for the season ahead.

The announcement came through Team Falcons’ social media channels, confirming that the Chinese superstar will represent them in both Street Fighter 6 and Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.

Xiao Hai is one of the most decorated players in the fighting game community. A legend in The King of Fighters scene and now a dominant force in Street Fighter 6, he’s fresh off back-to-back EWC titles in 2024 and 2025. He also came incredibly close to taking home the City of the Wolves championship this year, falling just short to GO1 in the grand finals.

Before joining Falcons, Xiao Hai was a key part of KuaiShou Gaming (KSG), helping the team to an impressive finish at this year’s Esports World Cup. Interestingly, he’ll still represent KSG during Street Fighter League US, but for other tournaments moving forward, he’ll fly the Falcons banner instead.

There’s been some chatter in the community about possible disagreements between Xiao Hai and KSG regarding player payments after EWC, though nothing official has been confirmed by either side.

With Xiao Hai now part of their roster, Team Falcons continue to stack up some of the strongest talent in the FGC. If he keeps up his form, we could be in for another dominant year from one of the most consistent players on the planet.
