Kun ‘Xian’ Ho, a former Evo champion and a leader in the Singaporean FGC has announced that he would be ending his decade-long partnership with Team Razer and becoming a free agent.
Xian announced this via Twitter during the Capcom Cup, where his team, UYU, was consigned to second place by team Good 8 Squad.
In his short statement, Xian tweeted: "This will be my last tournament playing under @Teamrazer. It has been an amazing 10 years! Thank you so much for all your love and support. My next adventure starts soon!"
The relationship between Xian and Team Razer goes back to the early 2010s when Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan took a chance on a young Xian and sponsored him to tournaments. It paid off handsomely as Xian became the first Singaporean to win Evo and was also a runner-up at two Capcom Cups.
He has had a storied career, and while he isn't the same force he was all those years ago, Xian is a community builder and has a wealth of experience.
Razer responded with a tweet of their own celebrating the legend's time with them.
