World Warrior France Regional Final: Valmaster Makes Capcom Cup!

Valentin 'Valmaster' Petit is the latest player to qualify for Capcom Cup after winning the World Warrior regional final for his region, France over Mister Crimson after coming from losers to reset the bracket.

Valmaster has been in phenomenal form since the start of the Capcom Pro Tour season and was at the top of his region's leaderboard. He was also the best performing European at the offline event in Paris where he placed third. His Chun li is considered one of the best in the world and it is clear from how well he plays. 

He defeated fellow Capcom Cup hopeful, Mister Crimson, having lost to him in Winners' final and then defeating Kayne in the losers' final. He then went on to dominate six straight games to reset the bracket and win the whole tournament. He can now take a backseat and root for his countrymen in their online premiere which will take place on the 9th and 10th of December 2023. 

The online premiere will have an added layer of difficulty with Spain and Portugal being amongst the regions that will also partake in the online premiere.
