Street Fighter 6 closed beta

Numerous players and content creators were able to play Street Fighter 6 from October 5 to October 10 during the closed beta test of the game. Overall, the impressions from participants were very positive, which makes the game even more hyped and anticipated. 

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl DLC

Nickelodeon platformer fighter is struggling its way through the FGC and it's not going to give up. Recently the game celebrated its anniversary and announced a new character, Rocko, who will join the roster as a DLC later this year. 

Super Mario Bros. Movie official teaser

A treat for all Nintendo fans, as the official teaser trailer fro the upcoming Super Mario Bros. Movie has been released last week. The voiceover cast features several renowned actors such as Chris Pratt and Anya Taylor-Joy, and the movie itself is set to be released in April, 2023. 

Guilty Gear Xrd REV2 rollback test

From October 17 to November 1, everyone who own Guilty Gear Xrd REV2 on Steam will be able to participate in rollback netcode open beta. Also, the game itself will become cheaper and most likely will be discounted during this test.

Smash Ultimate player's signings

On October 9, Luminosity Gaming announced that one of the best Smash Ultimate players in the world, Maister, who used to be a free agent for quite some time, will join their roster. 

A few days later AITX eSports annoced the signing of Mr. E as their Smash Ultimate roster captain. He will not only represent the organisation as a player, but also will select the future team of players.

Gen's contract cancelled, investigation ongoing

A few days ago, DONUTS USG official Twitter released a statement regarding termination of contarct with Genki "Gen" Kumisaka, a well-known Tekken 7 player. The investigation regarding Gen's misbehavior is still ongoing, but the player himself already told in his Twitter that he apologise and will no longer pursue career in esports. 

First Attack 2022

Last weekend, First Attack 2022 took place in Puerto Rico and featured lots of world-class fighting game performances. You can check the results on the event's start.gg page or here on DashFight down below.
