VSFighting XI Street Fighter 6 Brackets and Results

VSFighting is the premier tournament for fighting games in England and every year, the biggest players in Europe get together and create some magic and this year featured a new winner. 

Rikemansbarnet from Sweden who has been a stalwart in the European scene and has been to Evo and Capcom Cup. In Street Fighter V, he was one of the few players who was proficient with Menat and this time in Street Fighter 6, he mains Juri. 

He took a tense Grand Final against Camerounian Englishman, Hurricane, 3-1 to win his first VSFighting tournament. He was also the winner of DreamHack Summer 2023 in June. 

The top 8 featured some familiar names including EndingWalker who was one spot worse this year in 4th position. In 2022, VSFighting was his first ever offline major and he took third place that time losing to Punk and JesterPower. 

Other people in top 8 included Brussels Challenge winner, Kayne, SFL EU challenger, Soundboi and Shakz, new comer, LinkNova and Juicyjoe.

About 500 people entered for this tournament which is remarkable considering VSFighting is not a stop for Capcom Pro Tour and is simply a tournament for pride and some money. It shows the popularity of Street Fighter 6 as a competitive title. 

With this win Rikemansbarnet can focus on winning the CPT even for Scandanavia where he'll have teammates and friends, Phenom and Veggey to contend with for the single berth for Capcom Cup X.
