It’s kind of a shortcut to learning Dragon Ball FighterZ combos

Do you like combos in fighting games? This aspect is absolutely essential for DBFZ, and if you want to win many matches, you need to learn how to combine those normals, Specials, and Supers into long and destructive series.

On the one hand, the game did a great job making combos accessible for beginners. You sure can press endless Lights, Mediums, or Heavies, but we totally advise you to not fall into this trap of blind button mashing.

The next level is using the fundamental string of Light > Medium > Heavy > Special. But that still limits your true potential in the game. It is absolutely necessary to step beyond this elementary pattern and start landing manual combos.

We’ve already published on DashFight a big DBFZ Combo Guide that lists available extensions and explains how to use them. But to reach the point of building your own combos, you might need to master an intermediate level — the Universal Combo.

This new video on DashFight’s YouTube channel is all about it. So, without further ado, let’s start improving our playing skills.

DBFZ Universal Combo

5LL > 2M > 5M > JC > j.L > j.L > j.2H > Super Dash >  j.L > j.L > j.2H > j.LLL

However helpful this combo is, it would be better not to stick to it. The process of playing any fighting game is continuous growth. Learn the simplest combo, and then let yourself experiment with various combo extensions. Be brave, and you will be rewarded.

If you still have difficulties within the game, take a look at our other video — it explains why you suck at Dragon Ball FighterZ (don't take it personally).
