Team RRQ Announce Takamura Departure

Indonesian organization RRQ has announced the departure of Street Fighter 6 player Takamura.

Takamura was signed earlier this year ahead of the Esports World Cup and made every effort to qualify for the event. Despite coming close at the Last Chance Qualifier, where he finished in the top 24, he ultimately fell short of securing a spot.

RRQ released a brief statement confirming Takamura’s release from their newly formed Street Fighter 6 division. This leaves the team without an SF6 representative, though they continue to field Tekken legend JDCR on their roster.

For his part, Takamura expressed gratitude for the opportunity with RRQ and wished the team well. He now enters free agency in search of a new team.
