Team iXA Announce SFL Japan Team For 2024 Season

Hiroshima Team iXA have announced their team lineup for the 2024 Street Fighter League Japan season. The Hiroshima representatives had to say goodbye to their captain and leader for many years, Storm KUBO recently, but are more than ready to march on without him. 

In an post on social media, the team announced that it would feature the regular stalwarts in Jazzy and ACQUA, but will also be adding some serious firepower with SBI's HibikiTheBeast, and EVA:e's Hikaru. 

This means the team will also be without Kichipa who was usually the other player who joined them. 

Hiroshima Team iXA have typically not usually met up to their standards in previous Street Fighter League tournaments, but with the additions this season, they look to be serious contenders in the fight. The nous, technique, and synergy that Hikaru and Hibiki bring cannot be underestimated. It also helps that both Hibiki and Hikaru will be bringing niche characters to the table in Lily and A.K.I. respectively. 

Storm KUBO and Kichipa used Honda and Zangief (sometimes Lily) but Hikaru being the arguably the best A.K.I. in the world and Hibiki who is ranked at number 3 in the overall MR ranking for this period can be considered possible upgrades. 

The date for the start of the SFL Japan season has not been announced yet, but we can look forward to hearing about it soon.
