Street Fighter Live Action Movie Loses Directors
The brothers who were to direct the movie have left the project

Two Australian filmmakers, Danny and Michael Philippou, popularly known online as RackaRacka, have left the anticipated Street Fighter live action movie which they were slated to direct.

The duo, who were at the helm for the well-received horror movie, Talk To Me, had already gotten a lot of Street Fighter fans excited about their involvement in the movie as the franchise hasn't seen a really good film adaptation since its inception.

It is believed that scheduling conflicts were to blame for this news as Capcom would like to get started with production and the brothers working on another project.

The Street Fighter project is now looking for a new director.

Street Fighter has had two movies connected to it with 1994's Street Fighter being a campy, if not cohesive story that has gained cult status while 2009's Street Fighter: The Legend Of Chun Li was generally panned by critics who were left unimpressed by the acting, story, or anything the movie did really.
