Street Fighter League JP To Sell Season Tickets For Public Viewing
The growing popularity of the league might pay off big time this season

Street Fighter League Japan will kick off in the middle of August after the Esports World Cup with a new format that will see two leagues each consisting of 6 teams with the top two from each league qualifying for the play-offs.

With this has come the announcement that tickets will be sold for these games to be shown in public areas.

The idea is that businesses like esports bars and restaurants can now pay a fee to acquire the rights to broadcast the days events to their customers.

Capcom added in a post on the official Capcom Esports website that each purchased 'ticket' for each day will last for 7 days after the event before expiration. This means that anyone who wants to broadcast the match can do so for as much as a week after the match has been played.

The tickets can be purchased on Zaiko and it is unclear if this option will work for fans overseas.

This is an interestinf development and it does show the growing interest in Street Fighter League in Japan to the point where they can roll out a feature like this. The league is already quite popular in Japan with various teams having fan meets and even watch parties to cheer on their favorite players.

Fans will be able to follow the action on YouTube and Twitch
