Street Fighter League JP 2025: Jazzy Abruptly Leaves Team iXA
His departure is a surprise

Hiroshima Team iXA, a Japanese fighting game organization, has announced the departure of pro player Jazzy.
The announcement was made via a post on their official X (formerly Twitter) account. Their statement reads:

"Jazzy will be leaving the team on Thursday, June 5th. We have decided to respect his decision and his wish to move on. We are very grateful to him for being the face of the team from the very beginning. iXA wholeheartedly supports Jazzy’s new challenge."

Jazzy also responded on his personal X account, writing:

"I apologize for the sudden announcement. As of Thursday, June 5th, I will be leaving Hiroshima iXA. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my team for giving me the opportunity to compete on so many stages and for nurturing me. To the iXA fans—thank you very much for your long-term support."

Jazzy’s departure is a surprising development, considering he has been the face of Team iXA since its inception in 2019. He notably led the team during several seasons of Street Fighter League Japan. With his exit, alongside the previous departure of Hikaru, who joined ZETA Division, Team iXA is now left with a significant gap in its roster. It remains to be seen how they will reshape the team ahead of the upcoming Street Fighter League Japan season.

Jazzy has consistently been a strong competitor, achieving solid placements across various tournaments. While there’s no indication that he’s retiring from Street Fighter 6, it will certainly be interesting to see where his path leads next.
