The penultimate matchday of the season saw some confirmations and what could be a tantalizing final day

  • Yogibo REJECT vs  Belc FAV gaming
  • Hiroshima TEAM iXA vs  CAG OSAKA
  • Crazy Raccoon vs VARREL

Game 1: Yogibo REJECT vs  Belc FAV Gaming

  • Akira (Cammy) 2 vs TS (Akuma) 0
  • Tokido (Ken) 2 vs Ryusei (JP) 1
  • LeShar (Ed) 3 vs Ryukichi (Ken) 1

FAV Gaming will end the season at the bottom of the table while REJECT will qualify for the playoffs at the top of the table. With the strength of the team, they look more and more like the overall champions of the season.

Final Scores

Yogibo REJECT (40) vs  Belc FAV gaming (0)

Game 2: Hiroshima TEAM iXA vs  CAG OSAKA

  • ACQUA (Blanka) 2 vs Eita (Akuma) 0
  • Hibiki (Lily) 2 vs Fenrich (JP) 0
  • Hikaru (A.K.I./Manon) 2 vs Go1 (Cammy)
  • Hikaru (A.K.I.) 0 vs Go1 (Cammy)

Hiroshima are close to a playoff slot and were in fact simply a few hits away from more or less guaranteeing their place in the playoffs, but for some incredible play from Go1 to deny Hikaru a comeback victory. Everything had gone so well until Go1 stepped up to the plate opting for Cammy over Chun li as this seems to be the character that Hikaru finds the most difficult to play against. This was the story in Hiroshima's last match where against Kazunoko, Hikaru tried to pick Manon, but lost out. Hikaru first went with A.K.I, lost, then went with Manon, and lost again.

He then tried A.K.I. again with greater success, coming back from two games down. But he was unable to clutch out the victory and also lost the tiebreaker leaving Go1 to take the points and the pride.

Final Scores

Hiroshima TEAM iXA (20) vs  CAG OSAKA (25)

Game 3: Crazy Raccoon vs VARREL

  • Shuto (Akuma) 2 vs Daikoku (Guile) 0
  • Kazunoko (Cammy) 1 vs Moke (Chun li) 2
  • Bonchan (Akuma) 0 vs Mago (Juri) 3

VARREL recorded an impressive victory over Crazy Raccoon to keep their playoff hopes alive. With Mago's dominant win over Bonchan netting 20 points and leaving VARREL just 5 points behind Hiroshima Tema iXA. This would mean iXA will need to win their next match which is against— VARREL.

Both teams now have their future in their hands. If iXA win, they make the playoff, if VARREL win, they make the playoff. However, if VARREL win by 25-20, it could make for an interesting situation as both teams will be level on points. With the current standings, VARREL will have the advantage there too as the battle and round differentials are in favour of the Mago captained team.

Final Scores

Crazy Raccoon (10) vs VARREL (30)
