Street Fighter 6 Wins Best Esport Title at Japan Esports Awards
It beat out other mainstream esports titles

Street Fighter 6 has won big at the Japan Esports Awards taking the title of 'Best Esports Title of the Year' beating out the likes of VALORANT and League of Legends to take the top prize.

This is significant as this is not a category that fighting games win in a lot, but the growth of Street Fighter 6 in Japan has been nothing short of astonishing.

While Japan has always loved Street Fighter, the latest iteration of the game has really taken off in Japan with several tournaments featuring some of the biggest streamers in Japan and international talent taking place left and right.

Street Fighter 6 is currently the 5th most watched game on Twitch in Japan and is easily the most popular fighting game in the country.

Street Fighter 6 has done very well for itself and if you want to pick up the game, it is currently 34% off as to encourage more people to pick up the game especially with the coming of both Ed and Akuma and the game's second season which will feature more characters and balance patches.
