Street Fighter 6 Reveals New Lily Mechanic Different From T.Hawk
streetfighter.com
The Thunderfoot indigene has a few neat tricks up her sleeve including one that completely differentiates her from T.Hawk

Lily is a new character in the Street Fighter timeline who is from the Thunderfoot tribe with links to T. Hawk and Juli. While it has been speculated that she is T. Hawk's daughter, there is no official confirmation on that at the moment.

But, something that became apparent very quickly was the similarity between her moves and T. Hawk's. They both possess command grabs and several Condor moves which has always been related to T. Hawk.

However, in a short video on their Twitter account, Street Fighter has shown us a major way in which she is different from T. Hawk.

In the video, we see that Lily has stocks and is able to save what is called 'Windclad Stocks,' and according to the description, it enables her to unleash more powerful Condor attacks. In the video, Lily can be seen spinning her quauholōlli in the air, and this manifests as small wind gusts around her arms. Then when she does a Condor move (her Level 2 Super) the attack is enhanced.

This is fascinating as it reveals another side of Lily and shows that she is not simply a grappler. She might have command grabs, but there is certainly more to her. This puts her on par with characters like Juri and Kimberly. This is another example of Street Fighter 6 doing a lot to create diverse characters with even more playstyles. As we meet more characters, we will hopefully be introduced to even more diverse kits.

Has this increased your excitement for Lily? Who would you like to pick as your main for Street Fighter 6
