Street Fighter 6: Punk Hits Number 1 On CFN With Sagat

Punk once again showed his incredible skills as he took new character, Sagat, to the top of the MR leaderboard and took first place in the world. Punk showed off his achievement on his social media with his Sagat sitting at the top of the pile followed by a slew of Japanese players including Hinao, Hibiki, Tachikawa, and Akutagawa who took up two spots with two characters. 

While this is not something that will last for too long, as someone will inevitably take over the spot, it is rather impressive that he was able to do it with a new character like Sagat, and this is not likely to be his main as he continues to stay committed to Cammy, who won him an Evo title. 

Punk is still looking for a Capcom Cup qualification spot, having lost out on the chance of getting it at Evo. He will probably show up for the Esports World Cup, which is the next big tournament with a qualifying spot up for grabs.
