Street Fighter 6: Punk And MenaRD End Conflict
The two have let bygones be bygones

Two of the biggest names in Street Fighter 6, MenaRD and Punk, have ended their conflict and have shared conciliatory messages. The two seemed to really have a spat for a large part of this year that really kicked off during the Street Fighter League season, where Punk was able to lead his team, FlyQuest to victory over MenaRD's Bandits. In front of the Dominican crowd, Punk heckled the crowd over Mena's loss and had on more than one occasion said that he was willing to play a money match if the money was right.

However, with both players in Saudi Arabia for the Esports World Cup, they have gotten past their differences and are on friendly terms again.

Apparently, Punk had said in a stream that he wanted to make up with the current Evo champion, and the two seem to be in a much better place.

While most are happy for the reconciliation, there is some regret in some corners of the internet that the public never got to see the hostility determined in a set in which there would have been a clear winner or loser. But with the hostility now ended, even if the two play against one another at EWC, it will be more friendly, which some wouldn't have wished wasn't the case.
