Street Fighter 6 Exceeds 1 Million Copies Sold In Japan

Street Fighter 6 has been a popular game in Japan for a bit and by the end of 2023, it was the 2nd most watched game in the country. 

By 2024, it had become even more popular thanks to tournaments such as the Crazy Raccoon Cup and Reject Fight Night. 

It has now been announced that it has sold over 1 million copies in Japan. This was made known by the official Japanese Street Fighter account, which celebrated with a commemorative artwork. 

This makes the Japanese market for the game very strong especially when it is considered that the game has sold 4 million copies globally. 

There is still more to come from the game with the 3rd season to come later this year with the promise of new experiences which should make it even more of a household name in Japan.
