Street Fighter 6: Elena's Unused Concept Art Impresses

As is tradition with new character releases in Street Fighter 6, new concept art has been unveiled for Elena.

Elena officially joined the Street Fighter 6 roster on June 4, 2025. Like the other Season 2 characters, she received a third outfit as part of her release. In addition to this new costume, Capcom also shared a series of unused concept designs for Elena.

Ten concept art ideas were showcased, many of which drew heavy inspiration from her African heritage. While her official third outfit has been well received, some fans believe that several of the unused designs could have made for incredible alternate costumes. There’s growing hope that Elena and other characters might receive more outfits in the near future. Capcom recently mentioned the possibility of additional costumes for Fighting Ground characters starting this summer.

With Elena’s release now complete, community speculation has shifted toward who might be added in Season 3. The most frequently mentioned characters include C. Viper, Hugo, Sagat, and Vega. Some fans are hoping for a teaser during the upcoming PlayStation State of Play presentation. Even if no news drops during that event, it’s widely expected that Capcom will announce the next wave of characters for Season 3 soon.
