Capcom is collaborating with NERDS Clothing and platinum record-selling producers Steel Sessions to create a new soundtrack

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of hip hop this August, Capcom has teamed up with NERDS Clothing and platinum record-selling producers Steel Sessions to bring together notables from the genre to create a new soundtrack for Street Fighter 6.

The album will feature Benny the Butcher, Rick Hyde, and Heem of the Black Soprano Family systematically bringing the boom bap sound back to the mainstream, lyric-centric Royce da 5’9”, New York star Dave East, genre veterans Styles P and Smoke DZA, as well as Papoose, Sheek Louch, Grafh and other artists, the list of which will become public later.

Hip hop and Street Fighter go hand in hand. Bringing all these hip hop artists together to celebrate the music’s history alongside the legendary fighting game has been an incredible experience.
