Capcom confirms PlayStation 5 demo for Year 3 DLC character, alongside Nintendo Switch 2 version trials and cross-play tests.
Capcom has announced that Street Fighter 6 will be a key feature at its Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2025 booth, with a playable demo for the upcoming DLC character C. Viper. The trial will be available on the PlayStation 5 version, allowing players to try out her abilities in Versus Mode. C. Viper, a secret agent first introduced in Street Fighter IV, is the second Year 3 extra character following Sagat. Her gameplay trailer has been highly anticipated since her teaser reveal over a month ago. Capcom’s announcement confirms that fans will get to experience her moveset before her expected October 2025 release.
Alongside the C. Viper demo, Capcom will showcase the Nintendo Switch 2 version of *Street Fighter 6 Years 1-2 Fighters Edition*. Attendees will have the opportunity to try exclusive modes like Gyro Battle and Calorie Contest, which utilize the Switch 2’s motion-control features. A cross-platform play trial area will also be available to test online compatibility across different systems.
The TGS 2025 event, occurring from September 25–28, will highlight Capcom’s broader lineup, including Monster Hunter Wilds and Resident Evil Requiem. However, Street Fighter 6 remains a main focus, with C. Viper’s debut marking a significant update for the fighting game community. Capcom’s presence at TGS underscores its commitment to supporting Street Fighter 6 with ongoing post-launch content and cross-platform features.
