Street Fighter 6 Adds New Ranks In Mai Update
There is now something beyond Master

Street Fighter 6 has been teasing new updates with the Mai patch which will be added next week. The new character, Mai Shiranui, will join the cast, but will also come with a slew of improvements to the game.

Some of those improvements involved the match replay feature and other things to make the ranked experience a lot better.

But, perhaps the flashiest of them all is the introduction of new ranks. The new ranks, all around the Master rank, introduce High Master, Grand Master, and Ultimate Master. Before now, the highest rank in the game was Master, but as time went on, it also became the most populated rank which meant that it featured a greater diversity of skill levels. With the introduction of these newer ranks, it will make it easier for players to match up with others who are closer to their skill level.

On top of that, players will also be able to receive some rewards for playing in ranked mostly being cosmetic changes to make their characters more nifty. Also, players will also have a personal master rate system which resets with every patch.

These changes should make the grind to improve in Street Fighter 6 even more fun.
