REJECT Announce Signing Of Up-And-Coming Ryu Player, YAS
He looks to be the successor to Daigo

REJECT, a Japanese esports team has announced the signing of a young Ryu player for the Street Fighter division. YAS is one of the players that hasn't been around for too long, but has built a followership on social media and has impressed seriously with his Ryu play.

REJECT made the announcement on social media, and the organization has been known for its flashy visuals and introduction videos. This time, they did not disappoint as they showed YAS standing before a player that was clearly Daigo Umehara. The legend was handing over a headband that was a reference to the one Ryu wears in the Street Fighter games. The message being conveyed seems to be that YAS will take over Daigo's spot as the most popular Ryu player from the country.

The short video was well received by the general FGC with many pointing out that this is a savvy pick for REJECT. With the REJECT lineup for Street Fighter League already decided to be LeShar, Daigo, Fuudo, and Tokido, it is unlikely that YAS will feature. However, he will represent them in tournaments, and who knows what will happen for the next edition of the league?

YAS also has a sizable YouTube channel, which could also be another reason he is joining the REJECT team, and with such a charismatic personality, can only bring more eyes to the team.
