Players will now be able to decide how they challenge the opponent including new art styles and backgrounds
With the Street Fighter 6 beta only a few hours away at the point, Capcom kept their foot on the pedal of the hype train by introducing yet another new feature. The feature, a customizable challenge screen, lets players choose how they want to challenge their opponents.
The 3D render is the default, but you can now choose from a wide variety of art styles and backgrounds how you want your ranked match challenge to appear to the opponent. From the short trailer, it seems that there are at least three options: the regular 3D render, a stylized 3D format, and an old-school (think Street Fighter II) style. There are also various backgrounds to choose from, and while there seem to be four major background options, it does seem that it is altered slightly for every character.
This comes on top of the other features that improve accessibility to the game and sound design, which seems incredible.
Street Fighter 6 does seem like it will be a hit, and it bodes well for other fighters that are expected, including Tekken 8 and the new NRS game.
