Storm Kubo Joins Street Fighter League Japan Commentary Team
The former player takes his place on the desk

Street Fighter League 2025 season will commence in a little over a month, and following the release of the team divisions and matchday 1 lineups, there has been an additional announcement regarding the broadcast talent.

Kubo Arashi, better known as Storm Kubo, has been revealed as the 5th member of the commentary and analysis team. Storm Kubo has been a competitor on Street Fighter League representing Tokido Flame and Hiroshima Team iXA. His last SFL was the 2024 edition before he more or less stepped away from competitive play.

Following the official announcement, Kubo took to social media and said of his move, "I've returned to the league in a different role than before. Mobilizing all our knowledge, I will be involved in SFL2025 as a commentator. Pleased to make your acquaintance."

This will be the first time that a former player for SFL will be joining the analyst team, and Kubo can provide a unique insight as a former competitor and bring even more entertainment to fans.

Street Fighter League Japan 2025 begins on the 29th of August.
