SPIRITZERO CEO Saulabis Passes Away
The sad news was announced today

Baek In-su, better known as Saulabis, the CEO of South Korean esports organization, SPIRITZERO and tournament organizer, has passed away.

Saulabis was a competitive player, commentator, and tournament organizer from South Korea. As a player, he was popular for his Rashid and was one of the great names within the South Korean FGC.

The sad news was first announced by one of the players in his team, Armperor, who took to social media to share details of the sad death of Saulabis.

His message reads: "I have some sad news to tell you.

"Spirit Zero's representative, Saul Avis Baek In-su, passed away yesterday, February 18th. I hope many people will join us in mourning."

"I am always grateful and happy that you have been with me day and night for the domestic fighting game industry. I hope you can rest comfortably in a good place."

Tributes have poured in for the man who did so much for the South Korean scene. Popular veteran player, Poongko, released a statement soon after giving some more details of the cause of death. According to Poongko, Saulabis' death was caused by a heart attack.

Furthermore, Saulabis apparently had undergone a procedure to deal with this previously, but it seems it resurfaced and claimed his life.

His team, SPIRITZERO, is a top tournament organizer in Korea and is usually responsible for the Capcom Pro Tour World Warrior series in the region. They recently started sponsoring players with Armperor, who won Kings Of The World in December 2024, and Poltan, a strong Tekken player.

May his soul rest in peace.
