SoulCalibur III Is Coming Back Through PlayStation Classics Catalogue

Sony continues to expand their classics library, and it seems like they aren't overlooking the countless fighting game classics that previously released on the PlayStation consoles.

While it's not too often mentioned as someone's favorite SoulCalibur game, it does usually get credited as the game with arguably the best single player content in the series. And hey, even the main game is just more of the incredibly solid gameplay that SC is known for.

It's not clear when exactly it will release, but it likely won't make us wait too long, at which point you can purchase the standalone version on PS4 and PS5, or get it through the PS Plus subscription.

This addition probably doesn't warrant speculation about Bandai Namco's plans for their older titles, but if these releases are successful, perhaps it can serve as a wake-up call that people do in fact want to buy and play these titles.
