Sony Removes 'Street Fighter' From Release Calendar

Street Fighter movie used to be scheduled for March 20th of this year, but those of us with the heightened sense of time and space will notice that we're way past that and the movie is nowhere in sight.

Sony has now acknowledged this as well, by removing Street Fighter from their release calendar, with no new date in sight.

The movie is still yet to announce its cast, and some months ago, it had lost the two original directors thanks to scheduling issues. At this point, it's hard to say if this attempt to make a new adaptation of the classic franchise will ever bear fruit.
