Smug Joins Nouns Esports For Street Fighter 6
With the greatest of ease a star is signed to his new home

Nouns Esports, a professional outfit from North America, has announced the signing of fighting game player, Smug, as they make their way into fighting games. The announcement was made via X where they extended hearty congratualtions to the player.

They also announced that they would be sponsoring Smug to Evo Japan where he will represent them for the first time. This comes while a lot of organizations have pulled out of the FGC, meaning that the FGC still has a sustainable future. Nephew also recently signed on with Team Liquid, who he already represented at Red Bull Kumite 2024.

Smug also talked about it, releasing a video and informing fans that he would be to as many tournaments as possible for Street Fighter 6 representing Nouns Esports.

Nouns Esports really entered into the gaming space in 2022 where they put out teams for CS:GO and DOTA2 and have been expanding ever since. They were in the top 8 for The International 2023 and have also won a coiple of other events including BTS Pro Series and ESEA Cash Cup: North America.

Smug  is a well decorated player and an Evo winner (Evo side tournaments 2018). He made top 8 at NCR 2019 defeating Bonchan in the process and has also won NEC and Defend the North. His accolades speak for him and we can now look forward to Chef Smuggles as he is sometimes fondly called, busting heads and going far in tournaments.
