Skullgirls 2nd Encore is Coming to Xbox Series Later This Month

Skullgirls 2nd Encore is finally getting a version for current-gen consoles from Microsoft this month. According to the Xbox Digital Store information, the fighting game will launch for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S on July 19th. The game is now available for pre-order for $24.99.

Initially, the port was planned to be released back in October 2019 (then the game was available for Xbox 360). Still, it was delayed due to unforeseen technical difficulties, and there was no news about the project's status for a long time. Over time, the game came out even on the Nintendo Switch and is only now returning to the Xbox. Congratulations to all the fans, even if the wait was long!

With this update now, it's more clear that the recent update for Skullgirls 2nd Encore was one of the things to do with the imminent release on the new platform.
