Samurai Shodown Rollback Netcode 2nd Steam Beta Test Begins June 13th

SNK has announced the date for the 2nd round of rollback netcode open beta testing for the Steam version of Samurai Shodown. Everyone will be able to try online game modes with this feature from June 13th to June 20th.

After conducting the previous open beta, the SNK team decided that at least one more wave of testing would be needed as several unforeseen issues were discovered. rollback netcode update release for Samurai Shodown is scheduled for Late Summer 2023:

Samurai Shodown is now available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Epic Games Store and Steam. The developers plan to add crossplay for all platforms except Switch.

Last November, SNK also announced its intention to add rollback netcode support to The King of Fighters XV during the second season, which has already launched with the release of Shingo Yabuki as an additional playable fighter in January 2023.
