The king is looking good

Muay Thai king, Sagat, has finally seen his trailer released for Street Fighter 6. One of the four emperors, Sagat has been a mainstay in the Street Fighter franchise and is a welcome return to the game.

Following his trailer, fans were quite excited by what the character has to offer, and there's a lot of speculation that he could be a top-tier character in the meta.

His release has been met with a positive reception and will come just after Evo on the 5th of August. This will be before the commencement of the Esports World Cup. Tournament organizer, Alex Jebailey, has revealed that Sagat will be tournament legal for both the EWC and EWC LCQ.

He posted about it on X (formerly Twitter) saying, "Yeah, they cooked with Sagat as the kids would say. He truly makes you feel like a total badass with his proper Muay Thai skill set. Can't wait to see him in high level.

"And yes, Sagat will be legal at EWC and the EWC LCQ (http://start.gg/ewcsf6lcq) happening mid-August."

Sagat will be the first character from the season three lineup of the game and will be followed by C. Viper, Alex, and finally, Ingrid, who will come out sometime in 2026.
