Ryusei Gives Top 5 Characters in SF6, MOP Strikes Again

Ryusei is the latest player to give his opinion of Street Fighter 6's top 5 characters. 

The FAV player was cornered by Norwegian champion, Phenom, and asked what his top 5 characters are for Street Fighter 6. Ryusei answered and listed the following,

• 1. JP
• 2. Cammy
• 3. Chun li
• 4. Guile
• 5. Dee Jay

This was in keeping with Phenom's quest to downplay Ken's abilities in the game as much as possible after he claimed that Ken is not one of the top 5 characters in the game. So far, Phenom has interviewed Daigo, Moke, Shuto, Tokido and now Ryusei and of those five incredible players only Tokido had Ken in his top 5. 

Interestingly, the Japanese players also really seem to regard Chun li as about three players had her in their top 3 characters in the game. 

Phenom is in Japan where he partook in the FAV Cup and Team Tournament along with other stars such as Big Bird, AngryBird, Xian, Oil King, and NL. His team Europe/EMEA was defeated by a Japanese team comprising of Ryusei, Shuto, and Moke. 

Phenom has maintained for quite a while that Ken is not one of the top 5 characters in Street Fighter 6 with the likes of Luke and JP doing much better than the classic shoto man. This has led him to butt heads (playfully) with Capcom Cup champion, MenaRD who has dubbed Phenom and other top players who support him 'Ministry of Propaganda.'

This humorous adventure has dominated the fighting game discourse for a bit with people on either side of the fence, however, for most players in the west, Ken is undoubtedly top 3. 

Phenom is already qualified for Capcom Cup and will be watching on to see who else qualifies from Japan when the CPT online tournament for the country takes place on the 6th and 7th of January 2024.
