Riddles To Quit Professional Smash For Street Fighter 6
His focus will be on Street Fighter

Michael Kim, otherwise known as Riddles, has announced that he will be focusing on Street Fighter 6 professionally for the forseeable future.

Riddles is a strong Terry player who is a legend in the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate scene and only started dabbling in Street Fighter 6 fairly recently. Since he got started, he's been getting better results and is only growing stronger and stronger.

Riddles was recently let go by his team, Liquid who he had been with since 2022. Following this, Riddles recorded a very heartfelt video where he thanked Liquid for all they did for him and talked about his future. According to him, he will be stepping back from competitive Smash after LVL Up Expo and Kagaribi to focus on Street Fighter 6.

Riddles mentioned that he is definitely on the look out for sponsors, but he would like to qualify for the Esports World Cup and Capcom Cup next year. He also talked about his love for Street Fighter 6 despite its flaws, a feeling he doesn't have as much for SSBU which he called his favorite of all time, but with no updates and no news as to when the next Smash game will come out, he doesn't think he will continue with it.
