Red Bull Kumite Reveal First Legends & Challengers For April Showdown

Red Bull Kumite will be celebrating its 10th anniversary this year with a very Red Bull sort of tournament. This year, the tournament will pit 8 legendary players against 8 co-called challengers. 

The first two legends to be invited have already been revealed with two-time Capcom Cup winner, MenaRD and multiple Evo winner, Daigo, also on the cards for the legends team. On the other side of things, a young upstart from France, Kilzyou, and Zangief powerhouse, Zangief Bolado have both made it into the challengers team. 

Mena was the winner of the last Red Bull Kumite with a commanding performance and while Daigo hasn't been to a Red Bull Kumite recently, he is still a terrifying opponent. 

The event will take place on the 5th and 6th of April 2025. 

More participants will be revealed later.
