The Red Bull Kumite event takes place this weekend with two players yet to join the already invited 14 that will be partaking in the tournament.
For this year's edition, the two slots are to be taken by the winner of the last chance qualifier which will hold this weekend, and the winner of the play-in tournament that will also hold this weekend.
For the play-in tournament, eight representatives from around the world (4 from the United States, 1 from Canada, 1 from Italy, 1 from France, and 1 from Japan) will play in a single double elimination bracket until there is one winner.
The schedule for the play-in tournament has been released giving us a view of the tasty matches that are in store. All the representatives will start from the upper bracket with the losers falling into the lower bracket where one more defeat means their exit from the tournament.
