Oil King Leaves Twisted Minds
The Taiwanese champion is a free agent

Oil King, a Taiwanese fighting game professional, has announced his exit from Twisted Minds ahead of the new Capcom Pro Tour season.

Oil King is one of the strongest players from the Asian region and is an Evo winner in Street Fighter V. He made this known via his social media where he said:

"Today, I’m leaving @TwisMinds & entering free agency.  its an incredible journey,  where I won the CPT WW and qualified for EWC and Capcom Cup.

"Thanks to everyone for all the support!

"Let’s keep pushing and have a strong start to the 25-26 season.  Here’s to the next chapter."

Oil King is currently a free agent, but things could change really quickly, especially in an environment where organizations are scrambling for players to represent them at the Esports World Cup. This will mean that there will be many short-term deals struck with players ahead of the summer tournament. While some teams have long-term players, something very common in Japan, the Western structure sees a lot more short stays.

Oil King was at Capcom Cup 11 where he didn't make it out of his group. He will have huge expectations about qualifying again from his region, and should be ready to go by the time Evo Japan rolls around.
