Ninjas In Pyjamas Reveal Blockbuster Team For SFL Europe

With Street Fighter League Europe set to kick off this week, the penultimate team announcement has arrived. 

Ninjas In Pyjamas, who only recently got into the fighting game scene are going to partake in this season's SFL, and will do so with their two representatives, Phenom and Veggey. However, they will also be adding two other fighters in Angrybird and Big Bird. 

With such a stacked team, they already look like one of the favorites to take the whole thing. 

The only team left to be announced is Guild Esports. 

The inclusion of Angrybird and Big Bird in the European circuit isn't all too surprising considering they aren't taking part in the SFL US which has usually been their stomping ground. Playing in Europe gives the competition an even higher profile and gives them a shot at competing at the SFL World Championships. 

Big Bird also clarified in a post that their teaming up with NIP is simply for this event and not a case where they have been signed by NIP. He also noted that he and Angrybird had been asked on several occasions to join SFL EU and is happy to now be a part of it. 

The birds have already teamed up with Phenom before at the FAV Cup 3v3 tournament where they represented team EMEA. 

Street Fighter League Europe will hold from the 15th to the 26th of November 2024 and will be played live.
