New Glitch Turns K. Rool Into a Top Tier
No rest for the cruel.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Smash series in general is no stranger to bugs and exploits, some of which end up defining the meta, but it's not often that you have people discover new things after many years of the game being out.

In this case, Japanese player B2 recently discovered a crown multiplication glitch that allows K. Rool to get two crowns at the cost of one stock of life.

This works by carefully spacing yourself in a way that allows throwing and catching the crown just at the edge of the screen. If everything is timed just right, K. Rool will respawn with a crown on his head, and the second crown will spawn along with him.

The significance of this is that you can now spam his crown throw with reckless abandon, enabling some incredibly simple zero to death combos. This can potentially become game breaking if people figure out to do it with reliable consistency, but for now it seems to be a bit of a novelty.

There have been rumors that it's getting patched out, but that's just people blowing a regular server maintenance out of proportion. As of at least 16 hours ago, the glitch is still doable and hasn't been patched.

Even though Smash Bros. Ultimate is no longer getting updates, this somehow caught their attention in record time, and just within a few games they released a patch that made this glitch no longer possible
