Multiversus Wins Fighting Game of the Year at The Game Awards
Although fully deserved, 2023 is likely to be a blodier battle.

The Game Awards of 2022 celebrates the best gaming has to offer, but for us in particular, Fighting Games are the must-play entertainment. There were many great titles from indie gems to some major games hitting the scene. The nominees were:

  • DNF Duel
  • Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R
  • The King of Fighters XV
  • Multiversus
  • Sifu

Multiversus became a rising star in the world of Platform Fighter halfway through the year with its incredible gameplay and the depth of characters on offer from the vault at Warner Bros. Heading into its second season, the roster expands, the balance becomes tighter, and the viewership is maintained. This is a true statement of the quality of Player First Games' work and talent.
