Mortal Kombat Onslaught Pre-Registration Now Open For iOS & Android

Announced in October 2022, Mortal Kombat Onslaught is a new spin-off entry in the MK franchise. Much like the live-action and animated movies, these are not main Mortal Kombat story entries, yet Onslaught will include a story mode of its own.

Today, pre-registrations to download the game on iOS and Android systems have gone live, allowing players to get in early and, depending on the number of players that sign up, unlock unique rewards for doing so.

Unlike mainline Mortal Kombat titles, Onslaught is an RPG-like battler, where you level up the various MK fighters through a story of its own. The original announcement did not go without its own fair share of criticism, especially as it predated Mortal Kombat 1's release date announcement. It will be interesting to see how public opinion shapes up when the game releases in full sometime in the near future.
