Mortal Kombat 11 Makes Stunning Comeback on Sales Chart

Fighting games are truly on the up and this is reflected not only in the hype and interest around fighting games, but also the sales numbers.

The end of July saw some great excitement for Mortal Kombat 1 with the release of a new trailer and it also coincided with a strong showing in the UK retail charts for Xbox.

Mortal Kombat 11: Ultimate has been one of the most popular games within the fighting game genre selling well over 12 million copies as at 2021. This is a remarkable number for a fighting game. 

This is even with support for Mortal Kombat 11 being suspended as at 2021. However, Mortal Kombat 11 has remained relevant, even earning a spot on the Evo grand stage this year.
