The Mortal Kombat 1 Steam page has been updated with the game's minimum and recommended system requirements for PC.
According to the information, the new iteration of the fighting game from NetherRealm Studios will not require too powerful hardware compared to Mortal Kombat 11, but it will require 100 GB of free hard drive space, which you should definitely be prepared for:

- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system;
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit;
- Processor: Intel Core™ i5-6600 | AMD Ryzen 3 3100 or Ryzen 5 2600;
- Memory: 8 GB RAM Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 or AMD Radeon RX 470 or Intel Arc A750;
- DirectX: Version 12;
- Storage: 100 GB available space.

Mortal Kombat 1 will launch on September 19, 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam & Epic Games Store). Pre-orders receive Shang Tsung as a playable character and Beta access for PlayStation and Xbox players. Beta will be available in August 2023.
