Momochi Hits Legend Rank With Random Select
The legendary fighter added another feather to his cap

Momochi is a former Evo winner and is considered one of the greatest players to touch the fight stick. He has been in the fighting game scene for eons and has maintained a level of consistency that is incredibly remarkable.

He showed his strength again in a recent stream when he got to the legend rank using random select. This means he essentially let the game's AI pick his character and used it to play ranked and was able to win enough Master Rate points to make it to the Legend rank.

This is pretty impressive considering the Legend rank is reserved for the top 500 players in the world.

In a clip shared on Twitter by HiFight, Momochi, using Juri was defeating a Luke character and with that win he gained enough points to make Legend and was placed 457th place.

Momochi is yet to qualify for Capcom Cup, a tournament he won in 2014 and was involved in last year. He will have one more chance to do it at the Last Chance Qualifier which takes place next month.
