The Dhalsim user did it again after his exploits last year
Mister Crimson once again showed the immense power of Dhalsim as he reset the bracket to win against Kilzyou and win the France/Portugal/Spain Capcom Pro Tour online tournament. The Dhalsim player was one of the favorites for the tournament to begin with, but had to show some incredible resilience to win as he was challenged heavily by young french SFV prodigy, Kilzyou. Using Dhalsim against Karin, he lost in the winners' finals and had to win the losers' finals against Valmaster before coming back to reset the bracket and then take the tournament.
France has always been a dominant force in fighting games and is one of the top countries in Europe. The top 8 bracket was a show of how great the talent in France is as there was only one participant in the top 8 that wasn't french, which was Vegapatch, who is Spanish.
Upon winning, Mister Crimson claimed that now that he is done with qualification for Capcom Cup, he'll train to become more proficient in using Luke so as to deal with counter picks. He also stated that he would be putting in a lot of work towards Street Fighter 6 in the hopes of being one of the ambassadors for the game.
Mister Crimson has been absolutely dominant over the past year, winning the first CPT event for France last year and a memorable win at the Red Bull Kumite in London. This is after several victories in Saltmine League. For many, he is the face of the French SFV FGC, taking over from Luffy, who also made top 8 but was knocked out in the losers' quarter-final.
The next CPT will be for the Midwest NA, and we'll get to see the likes of Brian_F and RobTV battle it out for a place at Capcom Cup next year.
