Luke Tops the Character Representation for Capcom Cup
Luke might be top 1

Luke might be the best character in Street Fighter 6 if we go by character representation. The argument generally has been that Ken and JP are the top characters with Luke coming in in the 3rd position. But, going by the character representation for Capcom Cup, there are currently 8 Lukes in the competition.

There are 36 players qualified so far with 8 Luke players (one Modern Luke), but Dee Jay and Ken are a close second with 6 representatives each.

JP, who is considered the best character in the game, has only 3 representatives which is interesting.

Some characters that still aren't represented include Ryu, Jamie, Kimberly, Manon, Lily, A.K.I., and E.Honda.

There are only 12 spots remaining for Capcom Cup and it'll be interesting to see how many Lukes we end up getting and if there will be any character we will not see at all.

In a separate list compiled by AlietteFaye on Twitter, Ken is the most represented character at top 8s for CPT qualifying events with 41. However, Luke comes next with 35 while JP has 29.

Interestingly, there have been 23 Cammy's at these events, but  only one has qualified for Capcom Cup, Bravery, but even he qualified by placing 2nd to Xian who had already qualified. This means that Cammy hasn't won a single CPT qualifying even yet. Considering how strong the character is, this is a remarkable development.

Capcom Cup will be held between the 21st-25th of February 2024.
