LA Comic Con Partners With Justin Wong, Punk, and Alex Jebailey
The Los Angeles Comic Con will feature a special tournament bracket giving people the chance to play against the three legendary figures in SF6 or MK1

Comic-Con, one of the geekiest gathering in the world, will be happening this year during the first week of December. Alongside the classic panels and booths, there will also be a new fighting games tournament on the West Hall, which holds the gaming stage of the convention. In it, attendees will have a chance to play against three legends of the community: Justin Wong, Punk, and Alex Jebailey. The titles those attending will be competing at will be either Street Fighter 6, or Mortal Kombat 1.

According to the announcement, Chris DeMoulin, CEO of CEI, the convention's parent company, is excited about the prospect of bringing on board more gaming and competitive esports scenes into the LA Comic Con fold, as last year's League of Legends event was seen as a resounding success for the organization.
