Knee Wins the First Season of Afreeca Tekken 7 League
The tournament gathered Tekken esports professionals from Korea

The world of fighting esports passes through difficult times, and still, we have some interesting tournaments. While EVO was cancelled and Bandai Namco decided not to support physical events of Tekken World Tour 2020, the Korean streaming website AfreecaTV hosted its own competition - Afreeca Tekken 7 League. In 2020, the fighting games community witnessed Season 1 of this fresh league.

If you are interested in all the fights, here is the full stream (comments are in Korean):

Many good Korean players participated in the tournament. Two reached the Grand Final:

  • Jae-Min "Knee" Bae (from ROX Dragons) through the Losers Bracket
  • Soo-hoon "Ulsan" Lim (from Equinox Gaming) through the Winners Bracket

They both played with Fahkumram, one of the strongest fighters in Tekken 7 (which is one of the best Tekken games). Both played on an amazing level, but Knee was a bit better

Enjoy his glorious moment on this short excerpt:

We at DashFight congratulate Knee and wish all the participants of Afreeca Tekken 7 League further successes in Tekken 7 esports and beyond.
