Kenny Omega Shares His Ingrid Transformation After Her DLC Release

With Ingrid now out in the wild (and seemingly causing a lot of chaos with her incredibly high damage potential) Kenny Omega went on X to show off a little behind the scenes look at his transformation that we've seen almost a year ago.

As far as marketing goes, it was wildly successful, because watching the wrestling star do high effort cosplay of Sagat, C.Viper, Ingrid, and Alex was way too silly to miss out on.

However, you might be surprised just how much effort goes into the whole thing. It might be less unexpected if you're personally familiar with any cosplayers, but this timelapse still does a good job of pointing out that it takes a whole crew to put together proper make-up, wig, and outfit. And that's not even going into the effort of making those things in the first place, there is such a massive gap in quality between cheap and expensive character costumes.

Will he return with something similar for Season 4? Only time will tell, and it would be a shame if something special turned into a predictable gimmick, but it's safe to say that Kenny Omega has become a community favorite at this point.
